Samaritan Counseling Center’s 2011 Ethics in Business Award Recipients The Samaritan Counseling Center is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2011 Ethics in Business Award: NXTBOOK MEDIA, LLC (for-profit business category) LANCASTER GENERAL HEALTH (not-for-profit organization category)

The two recipients of the 2011 Ethics in Business Award were honored and celebrated at the Fourth Ethics in Business Award presentation on June 28, 2011 at Eden Resort & Suites. The luncheon event followed a morning of workshops and educational opportunities in a partnership between the Samaritan Counseling Center and the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

The luncheon event began with a keynote address by The Two Dudes, Peter Barber and Brian McCaskey, entitled “On the Bus with the Dudes.” The shared how they built their company around their values, how they communicate this to their customers and what it means to them and their company to have received the 2009 Ethics in Business Award. The five criteria for the Ethics in Business Award are: Integrity, Fairness & Justice, Stewardship, Life-Enhancement and Transparency. For more information on the award criteria, click here.
